So what we have on our hands here
(in the way of my post yesterday about my boy anxieties)
is an acceptable situation.
When I didn’t accept his offer for a relationship last month, he decided he needed to stay single over the summer so that he could focus on God and on his camp duties. He said if we both still feel the same way at the end of the summer, he wants to meet up and talk about it.
I love that he is so noble, but I hate that I am so impatient.
I also hate that I am so pessimistic, and that I automatically assume that he won’t feel the same way at the end of the summer. But he’ll never know, because I want to be positive about the situation for his sake.
But I figure he’s waited for me for a pretty long time, so it won’t kill me to wait three months.
At least, I hope it won’t.
Plus, if he says he wants to stay single over the summer, that means he won’t be interested in any of the girls at camp. So at the end of the summer, he’ll still feel the same way.
…right?
I swear to grilled cheesus if my mother doesn’t stop talking to the TV I am going to fly across this living room and set her on fire.
She has seen Star Wars VI a million times. She knows how it ends.
AND STOP SAYING THAT YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY LUKE CAN’T FIGHT IF YOU DON’T WANT ME TO EXPLAIN IT TO YOU
