About Me

Yeah that’s my face.
My name is Taylor. I’m 19 years old. I’m originally from Vidor, TX, but now I live in Lake Charles, LA where I attend McNeese State University. I’m majoring in accounting and someday I’d like to be a forensic accountant, or maybe do internal controlling or corporate stuff.
I am a VERY VERY VERY proud member of the Delta Eta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi! I am currently serving as the Executive Vice President. I love my office and I love my sisters and I am excited to see what we accomplish together in the fall semester!
I have two miniature dachshunds and one younger brother, Julian. He has a cool girlfriend too, her name is Kinnedy. And I also have a pretty thug boyfriend named Trevor and a fly best friend named Urvi. My parents will have been married for 22 years this November. I live a charmed life, but I’ve had my own set of problems, just like everyone else.
I was in marching band in high school, but college band wasn’t my cup of tea. I still attend marching contests and will always be a band nerd at heart. I play drums. I also play guitar, and I sing. I love music. I like to look at art, but I’m not great at making it. :P I enjoy meeting new people. I can fit inside a wide scope of the social spectrum. I love reading. There’s nothing better than kicking back with my Kindle and diving into a great story. I am always open to book and music suggestions.
I love Jesus. I have been raised in a Christian family. Throughout my life I have felt like God did not give me a testimony. I have never been abused. I’ve never been poor. I’ve never drank, had sex, or done drugs. But as I’ve grown, I’ve learned that God gave me a good life so that I can share it with others. My parents prove to my friends that marriage and love CAN last, and that a relationship CAN be a stable partnership and a loving commitment between two equals. I’m not very good at giving advice, because a lot of the time, I can’t say I’ve “been there and done that,” but I have learned that sometimes people really don’t want advice, they just want a listening ear, and I am definitely good at that. (: My faith walk has grown and developed over the years and is still growing and developing, and I can’t wait to see what plans God has in store for my life!
